History of Kunnamkott Family

 

Historical evidence indicates that the ancestors of the Kunnamkott family settled in the village of Mylakombu near Thodupuzha around 450 years ago. The family resided on the Kanjirakattu property. From Mylakombu, the Kunnamkott family migrated to Pandalam and lived there for the next two generations. Later, the families returned to Pala and expanded into Thodupuzha, Nediyasala, Kolani, and other areas. Different families received different branch names based on the names of the properties they inhabited.
